Jean G., 68, Youngwood, PA

Jean Griffin, a resident of Youngwood, Pennsylvania, had her wish for a new washer & dryer granted, thanks to our Westmoreland County chapter. Griffin, 68, is the sole caregiver for her daughter who is in hospice care and needs to do laundry on a daily basis to take care of her daughter’s needs. Because she can’t leave her daughter alone, it is difficult for Griffin to go to the laundromat. They live on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace the appliances on their own. Having her wish granted will be a huge help to them both.
