Gertrude’s simple wish for a recliner is granted

Gertrude Teats, a resident of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, had her wish for a new chair for her living room granted, thanks to our Westmoreland County chapter. Teats, 76, was a Navy corpsman who worked in labor and delivery at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital when she was younger. Her current recliner belonged to her son who has since passed away. Although she can’t bear to part with it for sentimental reasons, it is no longer comfortable. Her simple wish was granted on March 2, 2024.
