A few weeks ago, we surprised Camilla Murphy with a special seafood feast on her 98th birthday! Her social worker said she enjoyed the food for three days! This wish was special to Murphy because she and her father had a bond over their love of oysters. In fact, when her father was on hospice and was craving fried oysters on a Sunday, she tracked down a seafood restaurant that was open and brought them to him. He hadn’t been eating much and was thrilled to have his favorite meal again. Murphy has been thinking about this a lot lately and will never forget how happy he was. Her social worker who delivered the meal to her told us how grateful they were for this simple wish making such a difference in her life.
