Thomas W., 69, Irvington, NJ

Thomas, a former long distance truck driver, has lawn furniture in his living room.  His wish was for a lift chair to allow him to maintain his independence.  He now has several medical issues that limit his mobility, making it difficult for him to remain independent.  His nursing supervisor from Bayada Nurses submitted the wish on his behalf, requesting an electric lift chair that would make it easier for him to get up and out of his chair more frequently.  His simple wish came true on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
