Celinda C., 83, Round Rock, TX

Celinda C., an 83-year-old retired dual language teacher from Round Rock, Texas, dedicated her life to education and music. She taught in the Lutheran Church, led choirs, and played the pipe organ, enriching others’ lives through her passion and service.

Now blind from glaucoma and only able to see shadows with the aid of a high-powered magnifier, Celinda faces daily challenges. Her apartment is located far from the laundry facilities, requiring her to transport laundry on her walker—a difficult and potentially unsafe task.

Celinda’s heartfelt wish is for a stackable washer and dryer to be installed in her unit, allowing her to manage this personal needs safely and independently. The cost to fulfill this wish is $1,199.00. Please donate today!
