Antoinette C., 85, East Mifflin, PA

Our Allegheny County, Pennsylvania chapter recently granted Antoinette’s (Toni) wish for a lift chair. Due to a stroke, Toni is paralyzed on the left side of her body and unable to get up out of a regular chair or sofa. In fact, she has fallen several times trying to do so and had to call the paramedics to lift her back up. Having a lift chair will allow her to maintain some independence and improve her quality of life. Special thanks to National Wellness Supply for discounting the cost of her new chair.
