Paint it Forward Fundraiser is a Great Success
/in Top StoriesThank you to everyone who came out and supported Twilight Wish at our recent fundraiser on March 3rd at The Uncorked Artist in Warminster, Pa. This fun event was a big success with 48 people attending and painting. We raised $1285 for Twilight Wish and also collected $85 to assist with the Bucks County Homeless Shelter.

Thomson, a resident of Warrington, Pa., has been elected treasurer of the board and takes over from Barbara Traub who served in that position for the past two years. Thomson has been a CPA for over 25 years, beginning her career with Price Waterhouse Coopers. She is currently working as a consultant and controller for various clients.

Earth Fare Team Members Grant Wishes to 77 Nursing Home Residents
/in Top StoriesTeam members from Earth Fare’s Home Office and Twilight Wish Foundation partnered to brighten the holidays for 77 residents of the Golden Living Center nursing facility in Asheville by fulfilling simple needs wishes. Earth Fare team members, including CEO Jack Murphy, visited the Golden Living Center in Ashville and distributed the holiday gifts to residents Friday, Dec 14, 2012, with a special appearance by CEO Jack Murphy as Santa.
As a part of the celebration, Earth Fare hosted a special holiday party for residents with all-natural refreshments and, as a surprise gift, a Wii console and games for residents. According to Kristi Kanzig, Assistant Director of Marketing for Earth Fare, “It was a fantastic day! The residents were amazing and our team members were overwhelmed.”

Third Annual Night of Stars & Twilight Wishes a Success

Over 100 people attended, raising almost $4,000 which will go towards granting wishes in the five county area served by the Western Pennsylvania chapter. Guests were encouraged to dress as their favorite star of the 50’s, 60’s or 70’s at this always-fun happy hour fundraiser! Thanks to all who attended and made this fundraiser a success.

/in Top StoriesBucks Business Professionals, a local business networking organization, recently presented the first annual Family Fall Fest & Moonlight Movie to benefit local nonprofit, Twilight Wish Foundation. Held at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum on Saturday, September 22, 2012, this family-friendly event featured pony rides, face painting, moon bounces, a photo booth, sand & spin art, food, live music, a car show and vendors. The fun-filled day concluded with a showing of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, under the stars in the Tile Works courtyard.
According to Bucks Business Professionals’ board member, Bill Flax, the event was well-attended and successful; raising funds to benefit Twilight Wish foundation and the low-income seniors it serves. Thanks to all the local vendors who participated in the event and to top sponsors Mission Pharmacal, Alamo Pharma Services, BioComp Pharma and Central Bucks Rotary. Thanks also to the many volunteers, especially the National Honor Society students from Central Bucks East and West, who donated their time and energy to make the day such a success.
