Our Louisville chapter recently granted Robert’s simple wish for a lift chair, greatly improving his quality of life. Robert lives on his own on a fixed income and had no safe place to sit in his home; he had been using a broken-down rolling office chair to sit and watch TV. This was a dangerous situation and resulted in several falls and injury to him. Having a stable, supportive lift chair will greatly improve his daily comfort, safety and quality of life.
