Sharon Hopewell, a resident of Middletown, Connecticut, had her wish to tour Daniel Hand High School granted, thanks to our Connecticut chapter. Hopewell, 88, taught in the Madison school district for many years. Even after her retirement, she continued working as a substitute teacher. On Thursday, May 30th, Hopewell and her son were given a tour of both Daniel Hand High School and Polson Middle School by principal Anthony Salutari. Hopewell also had the opportunity to talk with current students and thoroughly enjoyed her visit with them!
