Richard’s wish for a drawing desk is granted

Richard Simeone, a resident of Pittsburgh, had his wish for an upright drawing desk granted, thanks to our Allegheny County chapter.  Richard, 76, has enjoyed drawing ever since he was six years old. In fact, he won a drawing contest sponsored by local news station KDKA and that kickstarted his love of drawing whatever people asked to make them smile. As a young child, Richard would draw on the walls in his house and his dad would make frames to put around them because he loved all the drawings. He wished for an upright drawing table so that he can draw again without the neck and back pain he gets from looking down at a desk. Richard is very deserving as he volunteers daily at the Morningside Senior Center serving meals and helping members with tasks.
