A very special birthday wish came true recently for Timmy, a resident of WeCare at Mt. Lebanon in Pittsburgh. Thanks to our Allegheny County chapter, his wish to meet the Pirate Parrot was granted on his birthday, June 11. A lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan, Timmy never misses a game and loves sharing Pirates facts and statistics with fellow residents and staff. Before moving to WeCare, he spent more than 15 years volunteering at a local food bank and was an active member of his church choir.
Known throughout WeCare for his kind heart, caring spirit, and cheerful personality, Timmy is loved by residents and staff alike. His birthday celebration, highlighted by a special visit from the Pirate Parrot, was one he will never forget!
