Nina Bartolozzi, 67, a resident of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, had her wish for a portable air conditioner granted, thanks to our Westmoreland County chapter. Bartolozzi was a nurse for 45 years and now suffers from COPD. She needs cooler air in order to breathe well, but the air conditioning in her building gets turned off in mid-October. Having this air conditioner will greatly improve her quality of life.
