Marlin S., 85, Centennial, Colorado

Marlin Spellmeyer, a resident of Centennial, Colorado, had his wish to attend a Colorado Rockies game granted, thanks to our Colorado chapter. Spellmeyer, who is 85, is a huge Rockies fan but has not been able to attend a game in years. He has several medical issues and is wheelchair bound so it is difficult for him to get to a game. Spellmeyer worked in education and was a middle school principal for many years in Nebraska. His wish was granted on Sunday, August 20, 2023 when he and his family saw the Rockies play the White Sox.
