Joyce I., 87, Pittsburgh, PA

Joyce Irish, a resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, recently had her wish for a new lift chair granted, thanks to our Allegheny County chapter. Irish, who is 87, has several medical issues including osteoarthritis and asthma, needed a comfortable reclining lift chair that she could sleep and sit comfortably in and would allow her to get to a standing position on her own. Her old chair was unusable and unsafe and Irish was always afraid she would fall out of it. Now that she has a new, comfortable one, her quality of life has been greatly improved!
