Margarette, 82, Merrit Island, FL
/in Fulfilled Wishes/by Robin KardaneMargarette is a young, vibrant 82 year-old with a passion for life. Her wish was to ride in an 18-wheeler across the country. Twilight Wish paired up with truck driver Annabella Wood, who with her Pomeranian by her side, made Margarette’s wish a reality by driving her cross country in her big rig. AARP rode along for part of the trip, filming the wish for their magazine and website. The route took them from Pennsylvania to California and then down to Margarette’s home in Merritt Island, Florida.
