Grace, a widow for the past 12 years, needs a new washer and dryer. Her dryer has caught fire in the past and she constantly worries that it will happen again. Grace received her new washer and dryer on June 22, 2011!

Marjorie, a former vacation Bible school teacher and piano player for her small church has a simple wish. She wishes for a new summer dress to wear to church.
Thanks to the Port Jefferson Rehabilitation and Nursing’s Resident Council and a number of generous individual donors, Marjorie received a gift card to her favorite store, Goody’s.
Margarette K., 82, Merritt Island, FL/in Fulfilled Wishes/by Mary Farrell
Margarette, 82, finally hadher lifelong dream to ride across America in an 18-wheel truck fulfilled in June of 2011. She wanted to experience the thrill of the open road and be a part of the truck driving world. Twilight Wish arranged for Margarette to ride shotgun with truck driver, Annabella Wood, in an 18-wheeler across the country. This wish, which was three years in the making, began with a kick-off party before they left Dublin, Pennsylvania on their two-week journey. The planned route took them cross-country to California and then down to Florida to drop Margarette off at her home in Merritt Island, Florida. All told, the trip took them through 17 states, logging over 6,500 miles during their 16-day adventure.
Andrew S., 76, North Wales, PA/in Fulfilled Wishes/by Robin Kardane
Andrew, an Army veteran, has very poor vision. He needs a new pair of low-vision glasses so he can read and watch television.
Andrew has an appointment at Moore Eye Institute in April 2011. Thanks to Dr. Georgia Crozier of Moore Eye Institute at Abington Hospital, Andrew will have his glasses soon.

She is wheelchair bound and undergoes dialysis three times a week. She is unable to leave the house very often due to her medical issues. She spends most of her time in her bedroom and wished for a new television since her old one no longer worked. Thanks to Twilight Wish Ambassador Shannan Holtz and RC Willey of Meridian, Idaho, Judy received a new 40″ Samsung television on March 23, 2011.
Eldorado, 94, Sylacauga, AL/in Fulfilled Wishes/by Robin Kardane
Eldorado loves quilts. She recently moved in with her daughter and had a very special antique quilt that was destroyed in a fire. Her daughter wrote to Twilight Wish asking for a new quilt because Eldorado “needs the comforts of home.” Thanks to master quilter, Paula Munkachy, Eldorado received a new hand stitched, full size quilt on 9/16/10.
Carolyn S., 78, Sutton, WV/in Fulfilled Wishes/by Robin Kardane
Carolyn lives on 9 acres in rural West Virginia. She graciously offers her property to church and community groups. She has hosted youth camping retreats, family reunions and community picnics. Since her husband’s death in 2008, she has relied on her golf cart to maintain the large property and remain living independently in her home. She uses the golf cart to haul firewood from the forest, feed her horses in the winter and bring vegetables back from the garden.
Thanks to a generous donor, the batteries were delivered and installed on March 11, 2011!

Julia, a cancer survivor, is struggling to pay her monthy bills. She has asked Twilight Wish to help her buy grocieries at her local supermarket.

Larry, a former volunteer firefighter and Sunday school teacher needed a new gas oven. On Thanksgiving day, while preparing dinner for 17 family members, his 13 year old oven stopped working and the costs to repair would exceed the price of a new oven.
