Elsie Day, 79, a resident of York, Pennsylvania, recently had her wish to travel to Atlanta to celebrate her 80th birthday with her family granted, thanks to our headquarters. Although Day won’t turn 80 until October, she wished to make the trip now as she is battling stage four lung cancer. Day is originally from Haiti and has family around the world so they have never all been together at once. She made the trip to Atlanta at the end of February and had a wonderful time celebrating with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
