Elaine Mauzey, a resident of Denver, Colorado recently had her wish for an accessibility ramp granted, thanks to our Colorado chapter. She hadn’t been out of her house in four years because the stairs were too steep and she didn’t have a way to get down them. Now, that they have a ramp, she’s been able to get her nails and hair done, get to doctors’ appointments, and just celebrated 60 years of marriage with a dinner out with her husband!
