Doris Matos, a resident of Immanuel House in Hartford, had her wish for two bedroom dressers granted, thanks to the Connecticut chapter of national nonprofit Twilight Wish Foundation. Matos, 65, recently moved to Immanuel House. She is widowed, lives on her own and has very little furniture. Matos’ wish is for two bedroom dressers to store her clothes. This simple wish was the first wish granted by the Connecticut chapter.
