Jones, 71, and his wife celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 1, 2024. Throughout their marriage, they have celebrated their anniversaries in the mountains with Asheville and Pigeon Forge being two favorite locations. Jones wished to have one more chance to visit the mountains for their anniversary. His wish was granted the weekend of June 1st.
