Barbara, 79, has very limited mobility due to several medical issues. Her daughter, who is her sole caregiver, struggled to get her in and out of their house because of the stairs. It was also impossible for Barbara to step in and out of the tub, making daily hygiene tasks difficult. Our Jacksonville chapter stepped in and granted her wish for a wheelchair ramp and a tub insert. Having both these items will improve the quality of life not only for Barbara, but for her daughter as well.
