Thanks to our Rhode Island chapter, Anthony’s wish for a new propane stove was granted, just in time to make Thanksgiving dinner! Anthony, who is 67, worked for many years as a self-employed chauffeur. Due to several serious medical issues, he can no longer continue his chauffeur business. His wife, Rana, has become his full-time caregiver and is not able to work. In addition to their medical hardships, their stove recently broke, leaving them to prepare all their meals in a toaster oven. Because of their medical bills and limited income, they have been unable to replace it on their own. Both are active volunteers in their church community and also assist in homeschooling one of their grandchildren. Thanks to our Rhode Island chapter, their wish for a new stove was granted, just in time for Thanksgiving!
