Constance M., 70, McClellandtown, PA

Connie McClain, 70, a resident of McClellandtown, Pennsylvania, recently had her wish for her own furnished apartment grated by our Fayette County chapter. Connie had been living with her niece and nephew and their six adopted children after being discharged from the nursing home after completing rehab. All she wanted was a place of her own. Connie’s wish was granted when she moved into her apartment in low-income senior housing, but she had very little furniture or household items. Together with her church family at the Uniontown Grace Brethren Church, the Fayette County chapter threw her a housewarming party!
