Anna M., 94, Pittsburgh, PA

Anna Martin, 94, a resident of Pittsburgh, had her wish for a new mattress and bedding granted by our Allegheny County chapter. Martin lives on her own and is confined to her bed for much of the time due to health issues. Her current mattress was in poor shape, but she couldn’t afford a new one on her own. Martin never married and spent much of her life caring for ailing family members and now she is alone with no family to care for her.  Having a new mattress will greatly improve her quality of life.
