Our Allegheny County chapter granted an absolutely life-changing wish for Joyce recently. Joyce, 84, was born blind and lives on her own. Her social worker nominated her for AI glasses which will give her more independence and assist her with daily activities, improving her quality of life. The glasses read items such as menus, prescription bottles and bills out loud to Joyce so that she doesn’t always need to rely on others to read to her. This wish will make such a difference in Joyce’s daily living and greatly improve her quality of life!
