Lefender’s wish to have her yard cleaned up is granted

Lefender wished to have her backyard cleaned up so that her grandchildren would be able to play in it when they visit. Thanks to our Houston chapter, her wish was recently granted with the help of Jeff LeBlanc of North Tree Service. Lefender, 70, lives on her own and is not able to take care of her yard herself. She spends most of her time at home and would love to be able to enjoy her yard while her grandchildren play outside. The work required was extensive: there were fallen trees that needed to be removed, brush to be cleared and three large tree stumps that needed to be ground. Thank you to Jeff LeBlanc of North Tree Service for discounting the cost to clean up her property and to Jennifer DiMartino for funding the cost of this wish. Volunteers from the Houston chapter were also on hand to help with some of the cleanup and plant flowers and herbs in planters. Lefender was very grateful!
