“Grandma Moose” has her wish granted!

Our Westmoreland County chapter recently granted Virgie’s sweet wish! Virgie, 89, is known as Grandma Moose, and organizes bus trips and church functions. She loves to type letters and invitations and make posters, but was having difficulty seeing the keys on her typewriter. Our Westmoreland County chapter got her a lighted magnifier which will make it much easier for her to type. Virgie was thrilled to also receive paper, envelopes and stamps! Virgie is very active in her church, playing the organ for services and organizing short bus trips. She also still bakes cakes and other goodies to give to friends and those in need.
