Charlene G., 81, Crosby, TX

Charlene Gulley, 81, a resident of Crosby, Texas, recently had her wish to go to an Astros game granted, thanks to our Houston chapter. Gulley lives on her own in senior low-income housing. She has been disabled since she was a child and her constant companion is her small dog, Tinkerbelle, who sits on her lap while she drives her scooter. Gulley is a huge Astros fan and watches every game she can on TV, decked out in her Astros gear. Although she is one of their biggest fans, she has never been to a game in person because of the cost and difficulty with transporting her.  Her wish came true on July 5th when she and a few family members saw the Astros play the Colorado Rockies!
