Ward Miller’s simple wish for a new lift chair was recently granted by our Westmoreland County chapter during our first annual Week of Wishes. Ward broke his right leg last November and worked hard to be released from a rehab center and able walk again with a walker. His lift chair at home no longer works and, without it, Ward can only sit on a kitchen chair or on his bed. Receiving his new lift chair will allow Ward to maintain his independence.
