Residents of St. John Neumann Place Have Simple Needs Wishes Granted

Gloria Dei Senior Communities and Twilight Wish Foundation recently partnered to grant the simple needs wishes of 30 residents of St. John Neumann Place of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  As part of Gloria Dei’s CARE Community Outreach Program, residents in their Bucks and Montgomery county facilities raised funds over the past few months to grant the basic needs wishes of 30 residents of this low-income independent living community in South Philadelphia.  The residents’ wishes were for basic items including bibles, clock radios, a robe and an electric fry pan. Residents from Gloria Dei and Twilight Wish representatives visited St. John Neumann Place and distributed the gifts during a special ceremony on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Before the ceremony, the guests were treated to a homemade luncheon, courtesy of the residents of St. John Neumann.
