Our Westmoreland County chapter recently surprised Nelson Heckman with a birthday celebration. Nelson has been a resident of his nursing facility for over five years and always makes sure to remember staff and friends’ birthdays. His own birthday is February 28th and he always wants to celebrate his birthday, but his family never visits him. Westmoreland County chapter members made sure that this year’s birthday was a special one by treating him to a celebration at Eat’n Park.
