Millie loved volunteering in her children’s school and with Cub Scouts when they were young. She is active in her church and used to work at WaWa for 21 years. She now has macular degeneration which is reducing her vision and ability to read. She is very independent and would like to remain so as long as possible. A desktop video magnifier would help with this. She could continue to read her mail, pay her bills and enjoy books. The device is expensive and not something Millie could afford on her own. we need to raise $4,200 to make her wish come true and help Millie stay self-sufficient.
