Michael M., Greensburg, PA

Our Westmoreland County chapter recently granted Michael Moore’s wish to go to a Pittsburgh Penguins game. Moore has had cerebral palsy since he was nine months old and is a permanent resident of a nursing facility. He is a faithful Penguins fan, but was never able to attend a sporting event. Michael is known in his facility for his positive outlook, kindness to others and big smile. Although he is younger than our usual recipients, he qualified for a wish because he lives permanently in a nursing facility. Members of our Westmoreland County chapter surprised him at his facility with Penguins merchandise and tickets for him and his mom for the game on March 3rd.
