Josephine L., 89, Warminster, PA

Josephine Larson, 89, a resident of Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA, recently had her wish to attend the Army-Navy game granted, thanks to Twilight Wish, Valley Forge Military Academy, Paul Mango, Comcast, Travis Manion Foundation and Compassus. The 9th of ten children, Josephine served for four years as a hospital corpsman. Her last year served was during the Korean War.  When asked about her service, Larson says it was “the best four years of her life,” as she learned new skills and gained self-confidence.  After her discharge, she married and raised three children with her husband, now deceased. Josephine and her friend, Paul Owens, also a Navy veteran, were thrilled to attend their first ever Army-Navy game on December 9, 2017.
