Jonathan H., 80, Doylestown, PA

Jonathan Hilson, a resident of Doylestown Care & Rehabilitation Center recently had his wish to go to a Phillies game granted, thanks to Twilight Wish Foundation and the Philadelphia Phillies.  Jonathan, 80, is terminally ill and rarely leaves his facility. In his younger years, he played varsity baseball at Syracuse University and worked as sports director of the campus radio station there, WAER-FM. After graduation, Jonathan enlisted in the Marines and played for the Parris Island baseball team. Following his honorable discharge, he began a long career in television broadcasting as an editor, writer and cameraman. He retired in 2010 after his wife passed away. Thank you to the Philadelphia Phillies who provided the tickets and surprised Jonathan with a gift bag of Phillies items including a shirt that acknowledged his military service during the game on June 22nd.
