JoAnn S., 74, Greensburg, PA

JoAnn Sedunov, 74, a resident of Greensburg, PA, recently had her simple wish for diabetic shoes granted, thanks to our Westmoreland County chapter. JoAnn has had two toes amputated and it is very important that she has diabetic shoes in order to prevent further complications and wounds. Because the shoes are expensive, she couldn’t afford them on her own. JoAnn volunteers in the kitchen at Hempfield Terrace providing daily lunches and dinner for all of her neighbors. She also works at the Community College Senior Program 20 hours a week. Her simple wish was granted on July 20, 2017.
