Ida G., 73, Pitcairn, PA

Ida Green, 73, a resident of Pitcairn, PA, recently had her wish for a lift chair granted, thanks to our Allegheny County, PA chapter. Ida purchased a used lift chair many years ago but it is now falling apart.  Because she lives on a fixed income, she couldn’t afford to replace it on her own. Ida volunteers at her building’s food bank and helps other residents clean their apartments when they need to move out.  She also knits blankets for her local hospital.  Her wish was granted on August 19th.
