Hannah “Ann” H., New Castle, PA

Hannah Hawes, an 88-year-old resident of New Castle, Pa., had her wish to attend a Loretta Lynn concert granted, thanks to the New Castle chapter of national nonprofit, Twilight Wish Foundation. Hawes was born and raised in the South, growing up near the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. She has fond memories of listening to country music outside the Grand Ole Opry with her sister when they were young. Hawes is still a big country music fan and misses hearing her favorite singers in person. Her wish was granted on Saturday, November 16, 2013 when she attended the Loretta Lynn concert at the Mountaineer Casino in West Virginia.
