Geraldine P., 75, Pitcairn, PA

Geraldine Preston, 75, a resident of Pitcairn, PA, had her wish to visit her ailing friend in Florida granted by our Western PA chapter. Geraldine cared for her friend Mary while they lived in the same apartment complex and even traveled to NY to visit her after she was placed in a nursing facility. During this time, Geraldine became very close with Mary’s daughter, Gail. Since Mary’s passing, Gail and Geraldine have not seen each other because they live so far apart. In addition, Gail has throat cancer and can no longer speak. Thanks to our Western PA chapter, Geraldine traveled to Florida to spend several weeks with Gail. Such a wonderful wish!
