David T., 69, Indianapolis, IN

Our Indianapolis chapter recently granted David’s special wish to reunite with his sister who he hadn’t seen in over 30 years. His sister lives in New York and and her health is quickly declining, making it impossible for her to travel. David  and his sister were very close growing up and he wished to see her again before it was too late. An Army veteran, David is a pastor in his church and also volunteers in the food pantry. His wish was granted, thanks to a partnership with American Senior Communties.  Pictured is David with his wish nominator, Valerie Moore.
