Bessie B. is an 80-year-old woman who lives in Camden, New Jersey. She lost her beloved husband last year and finds solace in giving back to the community. Bessie volunteers at the Food Bank two times a week by cooking and washing dishes. She often shares how lonely she feels, but going to the food bank brings her joy and lifts her spirits. Bessie is a kind, thoughtful and giving person and volunteering means the world to her. Her Twilight Wish is to ensure she can continue to have this opportunity. Bessie no longer drives and is on a limited income but needs transportation to and from the foodbank.
